The Hydroid Medusa was a type of jellyfish.
Jellyfish were soft-bodied marine invertebrates with a gelatinous umbrella-shaped bell and long-trailing tentacles. One known species of jellyfish were the cyborg Hydroid Medusae, which were created by the Karkarodons of the aquatic planet Karkaris. Hydroid Medusae were deployed in large numbers during the Battle of Mon Cala during the Clone Wars.[1] A jellyfish-like species lived in the atmosphere of the planet Cantonica.[2]
