Jerserra was a Dathomirian female who was taken from Dathomir and trained by an Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire. She wielded a red double-bladed spinning lightsaber. She eventually killed her master and became a mercenary in search of more power.[1]
Biography[]
Early life[]
Jerserra was born[1] sometime between 37 BBY and 20 BBY[2] on the[1] Outer Rim Territories[3] planet Dathomir. As a child, she was very powerful in the Force, hungering for great power no matter the cost of those around her. She was a member of the Nardithi Nightsisters, a sect of the Nightsisters.[1]
In 20 BBY,[4] during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems,[5] Jerserra had witnessed most of her sisters die in the Battle of Dathomir,[1] attacked by the Kaleesh warlord General Grievous and the Separatist Droid Army, who were dispatched to completely wipe out the Nightsisters under the orders of Separatist leader Count Dooku in retaliation for the machinations of Nightsister Mother Talzin against him. After the battle[5] only several Nightsisters remained,[6][1] including Jerserra. Years later, a female Inquisitor came to the planet Dathomir in search of power but found a teenage Jerserra instead. The Inquisitor took Jerserra to train her as a secret Inquisitor. Before leaving, Jerserra took her clan's shard of the Nardithi Cluster.[1]
Life as an Inquisitor[]
Jerserra was trained by the Inquisitor as an apprentice. Jerserra spent years with her master, learning many secrets of the Force. Having possession of the shard, she spent a great amount of time studying it. Becoming impatient and wanting to travel the stars, she killed her master with her own red lightsaber. She erased all signs of her existence and crafted evidence to point at other Inquisitors and adopt a mercenary life.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Jerserra was a Force-sensitive whose dark side abilities allowed her to project terrifying visions into the mind of her opponent, forcing them to face their greatest fears.[1]

- ↑ 2.0 2.1 Ghosts of Dathomir states that Jerserra was teenaged, meaning that she was between the ages of 13 and 19, when her master discovered her on Dathomir, "years" after 20 BBY. This dates the events of the RPG adventure to 18 BBY at the earliest, 2 years later. Assuming she was 19, she earliest she could have been born would be in 37 BBY. It also stated that she remembers the Battle of Dathomir, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 20 BBY. Thus, Jerserra was born anywhere between 37 BBY and 20 BBY.
