Jesl Berken was a Mustafarian explorer[1] who lived long before the time of the Galactic Civil War.[2] Berken was famous for having explored the planet Mustafar and for having discovered rich mineral deposits in the region that was later named Berken's Flow after him.[1] Following its discovery, Berken's Flow was for some times the richest source of natural resources in the galaxy.[2]

Jesl Berken was mentioned in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] Mention of Jesl Berken was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Trials of Obi-Wan on November 1, 2005.[1]
