Jitfruit was a type of fruit that possessed a puckered appearance. While on the Outer Rim planet Batuu[1] around 34 ABY,[2] the former farmer Dolin traveled home to visit his grandmother, Grana, for the first time since joining the Resistance to fight against the First Order. Dolin discerned Grana's displeasure at his return from her facial expression, which he felt appeared as puckered as a jitfruit.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Jitfruit was first mentioned in Galaxy's Edge: Black Spire, a 2019 novel written by Delilah S. Dawson.[1]

Notes and references[edit | edit source]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 Galaxy's Edge: Black Spire
  2. The earlier events of Galaxy's Edge: Black Spire happen concurrent to the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 34 ABY. Therefore, the overall events of Galaxy's Edge: Black Spire, including Dolin's visit to his grandmother, Grana, must take place around that year.
