- "Here, have a jogan."
- ―Morad Sumar, to Ezra Bridger
Jogan fruit was a type of fruit found throughout the galaxy. Jogans were round and mostly purple, with white stripes and red leaves. The fruit could be eaten raw[2] or cooked. The fruit was the main ingredient and garnish of jogan fruitcake, a baked dessert,[5] as well as part of the jogan fruit tart[6] and the jogan fruit pie.[7] They grew on jogan trees,[1] and on the planet Lothal, could be seen growing in orchards.[2] They were found on such planets as Coruscant.[5]
The saying "the jogan doesn't roll far from the vine" referred to a child taking after their parents.[9]
