John Costanza (born August 14, 1943) is a comic book illustrator and letterer. His Star Wars work includes the early issues of the Marvel Star Wars series and Star Wars Annual (1977) 1. His comics career started at DC Comics as both an illustrator and letterer in the 1960s on such titles as G.I. Combat and House of Mystery. In the 1970s Costanza began drawing comics based on Warner Bros. cartoon characters for Western Publishing and later on for DC Comics, and in the 1980s he illustrated some of the titles in Marvel's Star Comics line.
