John Terra is an author and game designer who wrote the sourcebooks Planets of the Galaxy, Volume Two and Volume Three, and co-wrote Twin Stars of Kira, Star Wars Gamemaster Handbook and Coruscant and the Core Worlds, the latter two for the Star Wars d20 system released by Wizards of the Coast.

John Terra was an active RPG game author from 1985 to 2001. In addition to both Star Wars systems (West End Games and WotC), he's written for Dragon Magazine, Dungeon Magazine, AD&D 2nd Edition (Dragonlance, Dark Sun, Forgotten Realms, Spelljammer), D&D Basic, Mayfair Games, FASA, West End Games, Flying Buffalo, and KenzerCo.

John lives in New Hampshire with his wife and 4 cats. He has four children, three of which are current gamers, one which gamed for a long time but doesn't anymore. His favorite games are Pathfinder, TORG, Callof Cthulhu, and Paranoia. He works as a technical content editor, and still freelances. He's recently re-entered the world of RPG writing by doing various projects for the TORG: Eternity role-playing game, and is currently on their active roster of writers. He's also a professional blogger.
