Joshua Scott "JC" Chasez is a musician and actor best known as a member of the boy band NSYNC. Chasez was originally set to appear as a Jedi in the 2002 prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones alongside fellow band members Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, as well as Fatone's brother Steven Fatone.[1] However, Fatone later confirmed that their scene had been cut as a result of fan backlash. Despite this, Lucasfilm spokesperson Lynne Hale could not corroborate that their roles had been cut, stating it was ultimately the decision of director and franchise creator George Lucas.[2] Ultimately, Chasez's character and scene were not present in Attack of the Clones.[3]
