Jrul was a Jedi Master who lived sometime before the Clone Wars. The Master was attributed with formulating the famous Question of Master Jrul. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi remembered Jrul's Question when he encountered the Separatist General Grievous on the bridge of the General's flagship, the Invisible Hand,[1] in 19 BBY.[2]

Jrul and the Question were briefly mentioned in the 2005 novel Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith written by Matthew Stover.[1]
