Juliet Donenfeld is a voice actress who voiced Jedi youngling Lys Solay in the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures animated series. Her involvement was first announced on StarWars.com on February 9, 2023.[1]
Biography[]
Juliet Donenfeld auditioned for the role of Lys Solay during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to lockdown conditions, she used her father's closet as an improvised recording studio. Donenfeld likened her character Solay to General Leia Organa, noting that Solay's two space buns were patterned after Organa's hairstyle and Solay's willingness to help others. Donenfeld also said that children would be able to relate to Solay's love for animals.[2]
