"Don't they know that painting the ship red only makes it a better target?"

By the year 32 BBY,[1] Lieutenant Jull Dremon served as Chief Gunner[3] aboard the Trade Federation flagship, the modified Lucrehulk-class LH-3210 cargo freighter Saak'ak. Shortly before the Invasion of Naboo,[2] Dremon relayed Viceroy Nute Gunray's orders[3] to destroy the Republic Diplomatic Corps Consular-class space cruiser Radiant VII[2] to a battle droid gunner[5] designated OWO-3.[3] Dremon was later assigned by Gunray to the Droid Control Ship Vuutun Palaa[2] when the Saak'ak left the Naboo system,[3] where the Chief Gunner was killed when it was destroyed by Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Naboo.[2]

Personality and traits[]

Just before ordering its destruction, Jull Dremon commented that the Radiant VII's red livery only made it a better target.[4] A Neimoidian,[3] he had mottled gray skin and red eyes.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Jull Dremon was originally created for The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, a Star Wars Legends reference book written by W. Haden Blackman[4] and released on September 30, 2003.[6] Dremon was retconned into the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace by the Rogues Gallery recurring feature published in Star Wars Insider 147,[3] and his place on the right side of the Saak'ak and Vuunta Palaa's bridges was set in stone by Leland Chee.[7]
