The Jurzan spaceport was a spaceport where the bounty hunter Bossk's favorite cantina was located.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] Bossk and the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca had engaged in an explosive firefight on the spaceport which resulted in the destruction of the cantina and the Bitemark, a new starship the Trandoshan had just purchased. Bossk was almost successful in capturing the duo to claim the bounty on their heads, but ultimately they escaped.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Jurzan spaceport was mentioned in "Tooth and Claw", a short story written by Michael Kogge and published in the From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back anthology in 2020.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, a planet named Jurzan was introduced in the article "The Business of Bacta," which was also written by Kogge and published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 3 in 1994.[3]
