The Ka'rta, or Mandalorian Iron Heart,[1] was a symbol omnipresent among Mandalorians. It was a hexagonal shape integrated in the clothing, design, and architecture.[2] It was notably featured on the chestplate of the Mandalorian armor. Prime Minister Almec had it shaved into his hair.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Ka'rta was first identified in the current Star Wars canon in the thirty-second issue of the magazine Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon.[2] According to the Mando'a dictionary, the proper spelling is kar'ta, which means "heart."[4]
