Kahel cave fungus was a type of fungus which grew in the caves of the volcanic planet Mustafar. The sentient Mustafarian species, also native to Mustafar, built their homes in the shape of the cave fungus.[1] The fungus was highly symbolic in their culture.[3] The bounty hunter Beilert Valance once compared his partner, Dengar, to kahel cave fungus after the two dispatched a group of Crimson Dawn enforcers on the planet Jekara[2] in 3 ABY.[4]
