The Kaikielius campaign took place in the Clone Wars, the battle was part of Operation Durge's Lance lead by Confederate General Grievous.
An aberrant clone trooper was present during this battle, and suffered a paranoid delusion while on a reconnaissance mission: he killed all of his fellow batchers and was later recovered sitting docilely on an outcropping, surrounded by their bodies. Interrogated by Republic Intelligence, he insisted that the entire Kaikielius campaign was a training exercise and believed that commando droids disguised in clone trooper armor had replaced his squad. Owing to this incident he was dubbed "the Mad Clone of Kaikielius" by HoloNet commentators.
