Kailion was the main port world for the 77 Sectors. It was the location of the Kailion caves.

During the Clone Wars, the Sheyasti Trade Syndicate operated on this world. A team of Jedi led by Master Dajjun and his Padawan, Karii, was dispatched here to acquire a droid that would prove the Syndicate was smuggling supplies to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. They acquired it, but were forced to fight a number of creatures in the Kailion caves while making their escape.
