Kalinda was an astronomical object located in the Mid Rim[1] and the Trailing Sectors regions,[2] in grid square O-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid. A hyperspace route linked Kalinda to the[1] planet[3] Naboo and the celestial body Kira.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Kalinda was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' roleplaying game boxed set.[1]
The Kalinda system and the star Kalinda were originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via the roleplaying game adventure "Den of Spies." It was written by Richard and Barbara Clark and Janelle Keberle for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and was included in the 1993 book Twin Stars of Kira.[4]
