The Kamino system was an Wild Space star system situated beyond the Outer Rim Territories and just south of the companion galaxy known as the Rishi Maze, as a result was sometime considered extragalactic. The system contained thirteen planets, including the ocean world of Kamino, home to the Kaminoan scientists who created the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic. Kamino's star was described as "aging."
Description[]
The Kamino system was a Wild Space[1] star system[2] located beyond the Outer Rim Territories and south[7] of the dwarf Rishi Maze galaxy.[2] It could be considered to be extragalactic due to it location.[2] The system contained the ocean world of Kamino,[4] homeworld of the Kaminoan species who created the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic,[5] as well as twelve other planets, and Kamino's aging star.[2]
