The Karlinus system was a star system that was located within the Chommell sector, a part of the galaxy's Mid Rim[1] and Trailing Sectors regions. It fell within the borders of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2] The system was the origin point of Karlini tea.[3][4]
Behind the scenes[]
The Karlinus system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square O-16.[2]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Karlini tea in relation to the Karlinus system.
