The Kashyyyk long-gun[4] (also called Wookiee rifle)[1] was a long-barreled rifle used by the Wookiees of Kashyyyk.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Kashyyyk long-guns first appeared in the 2005 movie Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.[5] They made a second appearance in "Wookiee Hunt," the twenty-second and final episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' third season.[2]
A piece of concept art for the long-guns appearing that episode, drawn by Wayne Lo, mistakenly identifies them as bowcasters. However, the Concept Art Gallery for "Wookiee Hunt" on StarWars.com correctly labels them as Wookiee rifles.[1]
