Kaycee Kollenz[3] was a human[1] freighter tramper who traveled on board the AA-9 Freighter-Liner Jendirian Valley while it transported refugees from the planet Coruscant to the planet Naboo during the Separatist Crisis[3] in 22 BBY.[4] During the journey, Kollenz stood and talked behind the Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker while the Jedi sat and ate with Senator Padmé Amidala,[1] with both Skywalker and Amidala disguised as peasants.[3] The tramper had tan skin, brown eyes, and black hair. Kollenz wore a black jumpsuit with yellow markings, black boots and gloves, and a black facemask.[2]

Kaycee Kollenz first appeared in the 2002 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[1] The character's scene was filmed in the art department depot of building 48 at Fox Studios, Sydney.[5] In the current Star Wars canon, the character was identified in "AA-9 Coruscant Starfreighter," an article in the "Starship Fact File" department of the magazine Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 50,[3] which was written by Tim Veekhoven[6] and published around December 16, 2015.[7] The name originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where Kollenz was first identified in the 2005 reference book Dressing a Galaxy: The Costumes of Star Wars, which was written by Trisha Biggar.[8]
