"…Baris, Red, Kef…"
―Skirata and Vau mention Kef in their mourning[src]

"Kef" was the nickname of a clone of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. He was born and trained on the planet Kamino to serve in the Grand Army of the Republic as a clone commando during the upcoming Clone Wars. Sometime during the war,[1] which lasted between 22 and 19 BBY,[1][2] Kef was killed. After his death, he was mourned, along with all other clone commandos who had been killed since the start of the war, by the Mandalorian training sergeants Kal Skirata and Walon Vau.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Like his clone imprint,[4] Jango Fett, Kef was 1.83 meters tall.[3]

Behind the scenes[]

Kef was first mentioned in Order 66, the fourth installment of the Republic Commando series. The novel was written by Karen Traviss and released on September 16, 2008.[1]
