"…Baris, Red, Kef…"
―Skirata and Vau mention Kef in their mourning[3]

"Kef" was the nickname of a clone trooper,[3] who was a clone of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. He was born and trained on the planet Kamino to serve in the Grand Army of the Republic[1] as a clone commando during the upcoming Clone Wars. Sometime during the war,[3] which lasted between 22 and 19 BBY,[2] Kef was killed. After his death, he was mourned, along with all other clone commandos who had been killed since the start of the war, by the Mandalorian training sergeants Kal Skirata and Walon Vau.[3] Like all clones, Kef stood 1.83 meters tall.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Kef was mentioned in Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel, the fourth novel in the Republic Commando series written by Karen Traviss and published in 2009.[3]
