Kelbo was a M'shento'su'Nikto who frequented Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina. He and his friend Zutmore often borrowed credits from Ackmena.

Although the M'shento'su'Nikto were modeled on Kelbo's appearance, he was not officially identified as a member of the race until the 2013 Star Wars Blog article, The Star Wars Holiday Special Cantina: Who's Who.
Kelbo also appears sporadically and randomly in the non-canon game Star Wars: Yoda Stories.
