Kell Borean was a Human female from the planet Coruscant who frequented the Outlander Club prior to the start of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY. She seemed to be a permanent fixture around the club's gambling tables despite not being an employee. During a night in 22 BBY, Borean visited the club when the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker entered to find bounty hunter Zam Wesell.
Biography[]
Kell Borean was a Human female native to[1] the planet[2] Coruscant. A participant in Coruscant's party scene,[3] Borean frequented the Outlander Club,[1] a nightclub and gambling hall located in the Uscru Entertainment District of Coruscant,[4] prior to the start of the Clone Wars, a conflict[1] that started in 22 BBY.[5] Though Borean was not an employee of the club,[6] she[1] seemed to be a permanent fixture around its gambling tables.[6]
During a night[7] in 22 BBY,[5] Borean stood next to the Human Eos Morne near the Outlander Club's entrance as the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker walked in searching for the bounty hunter Zam Wesell. Later, she was at a[7] gaming table[8] surrounded by several Humans and gave an[7] elated cheer to a big payout[6] as Skywalker walked by.[7]
Personality and traits[]
Borean had black hair[1] worn in a long braid,[9] brown eyes, and light skin.[1]
Equipment[]
Borean wore a light blue top, loose see-through light blue pants worn over shorts, white boots,[2] and a large white and black hat which possibly gave her luck.[6]

Kell Borean first appeared in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones,[7] released on May 16, 2002.[10] In the film, Borean was portrayed by Australian actor and make-up artist Eliana Dona,[11] though she was left uncredited for her work.[7] The Outlander Club scenes including Dona were shot at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.[12]
Prior to the film's release, the character was first pictured in the documentary "A Twinkle Beyond Pluto,"[13] released on July 31, 2001[14] and was identified in the StarWars.com article "Making Up is Hard to Do: Lesley Vanderwalt", which was published on February 15, 2002.[15] In the April 6, 2004,[16] article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night," published in the seventy-fifth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine, author Daniel Wallace described Borean's hat as an "Easter parade" hat.[6]
