Kerest was a celestial body located in the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Western Reaches.[2] It was situated in grid square M-19 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Kerest was home to the sentient Kerestian species.[3][4]

Behind the scenes[]

Kerest was mentioned on a map[1] created for the reference book Star Wars: Timelines and given out as a promotional poster at Celebration Anaheim[5] on May 27, 2022[6] prior to the book's release during Celebration Europe[7] of April 7 through 10, 2023.[8] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Kerest was a planet[9] that was first mentioned in the 1993 sourcebook Wanted by Cracken, which was written by Louis J. Prosperi for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[10]
