- "What would this crew do without its captain?"
"To be clear, Khel, you are not the one in charge. I am."
"It's so cute that you think so." - ―Khel Tanna and T'onga
Khel Tanna was a human female[1] scoundrel[3] who worked for Jabba Desilijic Tiure during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[1] She[2] had dark skin, black hair and blue eyes.[1] Tanna detested[5] the smuggler Han Solo, whom she accompanied on a job for Jabba, as well as the Wookiee Chewbacca.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- "Another new character we meet in the first issue is a scoundrel named Khel Tanna. She also does jobs and pulls heists for Jabba the Hutt and she detests Han with a seething passion. She's tough as iron and a helluva lot of fun to write."
- ―Marc Guggenheim
Khel Tanna is a character created for the comic series Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca, written by Marc Guggenheim, and illustrated by David Messina. She appeared in the first issue,[1] published on March 9, 2022.[6]
