"I am Kiki of the Dorente sept, advisor to the Neetha den mother."
―Kiki Dorente, to a spacer[1]

Kiki Dorente was a Selonian female who lived on Talus during the Galactic Civil War.

Biography[]

"It appears the smugglers have some of the den's people, and are using them to coerce the rest of the den into mining for them. I need you to talk to Kiki Dorente and see if you can help her with the den's problems."
Agent Taarna, to a spacer[2]

Kiki Dorente was a Selonian sept who belonged to the Neetha Den, a Selonian den that inhabited a cave near Nashal, on the planet Talus. By the time following the Battle of Yavin, she served as the advisor to the Neetha den mother.[1]

Smuggler Base

The Smuggler Base

After the Battle of Yavin, several Selonians of the den were captured by the Talusian Smugglers and kept as hostages in order to exploit the rest of the den.[2] In 1 ABY,[3] the Corellian Security Force was aware of the situation but was unable to intervene in Selonian matters. Agent Taarna thus recruited an independent spacer to help the Selonians without involving the CorSec.[2] The spacer met Kiki Dorente in her cave, and the Selonian accepted the assistance.[1] She first tasked the spacer with reconnoitering the Smuggler Base where her denmates were supposedly held. After the spacer returned to the Selonian cave with the information requested, Kiki and other Selonian mates developed a strategy against the smuggler.[4] Tika Sileste requested the spacer eliminate the smuggler guards and destroy the droids in the base.[5] Ravi Thienta asked the spacer to recover stolen Selonian's supplies and destroy the smugglers' weapons cache.[6] Lika Fimente tasked the spacer with finding the captive Selonians in the base.[7] Furthermore, Kiki Dorente sent the spacer back to the smuggler base in order to gather information about the destination of the cargo shuttles leaving the base.[4] Although the spacer achieved most of the objectives, the assault was only a partial success. The spacer defeated most of the smugglers, including their leader,[5] and crippled their ability to exploit the Selonians.[6] However, the spacer discovered that the captive Selonians had already been shipped to Ord Mantell and sold as slaves.[7] As the situation with the smugglers was concluding, Kiki eventually introduced the spacer to the den mother, who thanked the spacer for the great assistance.[8]

Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic.
