For other uses, see King's Ransom.

The King's Ransom was a Raider-class corvette owned by Imperial captain Cerasus Ehllo.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[4] Ehllo traveled aboard the ship to retrieve his wife Aryssha of the Starros Clan from Hosnian Prime as he had installed a birthing suite on the King's Ransom so that she could give birth to their twins. After storming the Starros family ancestral home, he returned with Aryssha to the ship. Sometime later, the ship was present in the Hosnian sector.[1]

The ship travelled to the Corellian sector to pick up Phel Starros so he could be present when Avon's journals were unlocked.[5] It then went to Hynestia so that Phel could assist in the capture of Thea Starros and Mevera Starros.[6] While there, it was prevented from entering hyperspace by Aryssha who had sliced into her childcare droid and used it to disable the ship's hyperdrive. Lanitra and several of her allies snuck onto the ship disguised as a repair team and knocked out most of the crew with gas. Deva Lompop and Sana Starros boarded the ship shortly after they and Hondo Ohnaka disabled a pair of TIE/IN interceptors that were guarding it. Once all the Imperials were neutralized, they were ejected in escape pods and Lompop commandeered the ship so that she could sell it.[2]

  4. The events of Star Wars: Sana Starros take place between those of issue 31 and issue 38 of the 2020 Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic-book series. Issue 31 is also set after Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 3 ABY, while issue 38 is a part of the Star Wars: Dark Droids crossover event, which is followed by the events of issue 43 of the 2020 Star Wars series. Furthermore, the flashbacks of issue 50 of the Star Wars series—which follow the events of issue 43—take place approximately twenty-two years after Sheev Palpatine's ascension to the title of Galactic Emperor. Since Timelines dates that event to 19 BBY, the flashbacks must occur around 3 ABY and the events of Sana Starros must therefore also take place around the latter year.
