Kintan striders were a species[3] of silicon-based lifeforms[1] from the planet Kintan[2] who were intelligent enough to use simple tools.[1] Their appearance was used for one of the holographic pieces in the game dejarik.[3] Tasu Leech, topboss of the criminal Kanjiklub gang, owned a Donderbus blaster whose handle was made from the ulna of a Kintan strider.[4] They were the namesake of the Kintan Striders Gang, a gang of Niktos which was active on Tatooine in the early New Republic Era.[5]
