The Flashpoint storyline reaches its explosive conclusion as fugitive Padawan Zayne Carrick and his unlikely shipmates from the Last Resort undertake their most dangerous mission yet—traveling deep inside Mandalorian space to rescue one of their own! With a little help from the most unexpected of allies, Zayne and the gang must find an isolated space outpost, once a Republic research station, now in the hands of a Mandalorian scientist with wholly evil intentions. To think they can pull this off with both themselves and their friend intact, they'd have to be insane—luckily they are!
In Flashpoint Station behind the Mandalorian lines, a ship arrives carrying the Mandalorian warrior Rohlan Dyre, bringing the Jedi Zayne Carrick as "prisioner", andMarn Hierogryph and Camper hidden in a container. Inside the Flashpoint Shelter, the Jedi warrior Alek Squinquargesimus is tortured by the Mandalorian scientist Demagol. When the scientist is about to take Jarael for his "experiments", Rohlan Dyre arrives and demands that Carrick be examined first. Demagol complied and Rohlan was able to overpower the scientist and lock him in a closet with Zayne taking his armor. After Gryph and Camper manage to forge a false attack from the Republic, the Mandalorians evacuate the base leaving it abandonned and making it easy for the prisioners to take it. Alek and Zayne talk while the ships are being loaded to depart for the Republic. Afterwards, the crew of The Last Resort depart also.

Behind the scenes
Originally planned to be issue #9 of Flashpoint, #9 was pushed back to issue #10 and Homecoming was bumped up to allow Dustin Weaver more time to complete the finale of Flashpoint.
According to John Jackson Miller, this issue is set the same day as #9.
It is interesting to note that while there is a brick wall on the cover, there are no brick walls in Flashpoint.
