Kolivo was a bounty hunter who once worked with fellow bounty hunter and former Imperial Beilert Valance. Valance was later reminded of his work with Kolivo in a conversation with another ex-Imperial hunter named Cavic sometime prior to the hunt for the Sith Lord Darth Vader[1] in 1 BBY.[2] Mentioning Kolivo alongside three other "tough" bounty hunters, CT-720, BT-823, and a Nautolan, Cavic called them a "solid bunch."[1]

Kolivo was mentioned in the comic Target Vader 6, which was written by Robbie Thompson and published by Marvel Comics[1] on December 11, 2019. An excerpt of the comic including Kolivo's mention was released on StarWars.com prior on December 4 of that year.[3]
