Lieutenant Kollis was a Human male who served in the military of the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War between the Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Stationed in Aurek Base on Hoth[1] in 3642 BBY,[2] he dealt with the smuggler who would later be known as the Voidhound, who was working as privateer for the Republic. Kollis first met them while they were stealing long-range sensors from Republic Storage Depot AB-119, having been tricked by Languss Tuno.[1] Later, Kollis asked the Voidhound about the possibility of acquiring the cloaking technology from the White Maw pirates and wished him safe journey afterwards.[3]

The Old Republic—The Lost Suns 2 takes place ten years after the treaty, one week after the mission to Nar Shaddaa, and around the time of the SpecForce Incident. Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY.

As the Voidhound's encounters with Lieutenant Kollis occur during Act II of the Smuggler class story, they can be assumed to happen in the year 3642 BBY.
