The Korakanni Mound was a location on the planet Geonosis. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, a group of saboteurs led by a rogue Geonosian queen were based in the Korakanni Mound, and sabotaged the Empire's construction of the Death Star. After learning that the saboteurs had sent Galen Erso an ootheca, Darth Vader and a contingent of death troopers traveled to the Korakanni Mound and executed the saboteurs for their treachery against the Empire.[1]
