"My music for Korriban was well received by fans, and even the Lucas legal eagles. ;} Maestro John Williams defined this Star Wars sound for all of us that came later. I tried to give a "nod" to J Williams' influences."
―Composer Mark Griskey[1]

A musical motif representing the planet Korriban was written by Mark Griskey for the score of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, a 2004 video game. It was adapted by Griskey for his score for Korriban in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. The motif transforms into a rendition of "The Emperor's Theme" by John Williams.
