The Krex were a sentient species native to the planet Rokirex.[2] Humanoid in shape, the species possessed a large build, five-fingered hands, big jaws and was taller than many other Humanoid species due to the large horn on top of their heads. A Krex named Grenkk worked at Club Vertica Casino as a bouncer during a Soovada event.[1] In addition, General Ardinondu Dipolus Daeruun was a Krex.
Behind the scenes[]
Krex is a new species created for Star Wars: The Old Republic. A single member of the species named Grenkk appears during the Nightlife event, though he does not speak. The species was at first not identified in the game, but the name of Grenkk's species could be viewed in the game's files. With patch 5.9.2, a new item, the "Rotworms Player (Krex)" decoration, was added, the first official mention of the species' name. The Jedi Under Siege storyline from patch 5.10 introduced another Krex, General Daeruun, and added a codex entry for the Krex.
