- "Having been left unsupervised during a massage therapy session, a young patient, Rith Murisson of Krnay, discovered that the treatments had left a series of disfiguring suction marks on her back."
- ―Senior Anthropologist Mammon Hoole, The Essential Guide to Alien Species
Krnay was a location[3] in the Krnay system of the Mid Rim's Vilonis sector.[1][2] The young Rith Murisson, who at one point underwent a Umgullian blob massage therapy session on the planet Umgul, hailed from Krnay. Senior Anthropologist Mammon Hoole later noted Murisson's origin in an account of her experience on Umgul that was eventually included in the book The Essential Guide to Alien Species.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Krnay was introduced in the 2001 reference book The Essential Guide to Alien Species by Ann Margaret Lewis.[3]

(backup link) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Krnay in relation to the Krnay system.
