A violent herbivorous species known as krusk was native to the[1] Mid Rim planet[2] Bothawui. The species name was used by the Bothans,[1] a sentient species native to the planet,[3] as a first name given to some members of the male sex.[1]
Behind the scenes
The species known as krusk was first mentioned in the Galactic Campaign Guide, a 2003 sourcebook for Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game, written by Peter Schweighofer and J.D. Wiker. The plural form of the species name and its level of sentience were not mentioned in the book, which only included a description of the species in a table of Bothan male names.[1]
