Kurtang Squadron was a minor Squadron of 3 T-wings employed by Nami Crime Lord Ali Tarrak. After demonstrating to the Rebel Alliance the power of the TIE Defenders. Tarrak sent a Strike-class medium cruiser Nuance to arrange a trading agreement to a Rebel Carrack cruiser Prism. Then, Admiral Thrawn sent two Missile Boats, one of which piloted by Tan Maarek Stele, in their first mission to capture and reclaim TIE Defenders from the Rebels. After Gorgg Squadron was destroyed the Nuance launched the other T-wing squadrons such as Loggan Squadron Kurtang Squadron and Vedorr Squadron to fight the Imperials. All 3 squadrons were destroyed in the end and the cruiser was captured.
