Lania Tanner was a moisture farmer on the planet Tatooine. She was married to Jahn and the pair had a son, Shan. They lived on the Tanner Ranch in the Western Dune Sea. Tanner was a quiet woman who was well-read and possessed of a charming and engaging personality. Tanner, her family, and their farmhands were forced to relocate to Wayfar in the face of a marauding force of Tusken Raiders.
