Laser-borers were small vehicles that ran on treads and seated a single operator. During the war between the First Order and the Resistance, laser-borer tracks were prevalent around the tunnel entrances to Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Laser-borers were first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, a theme park land that opened at Disneyland Park on May 31, 2019.[2] Tracks are visible near the land's entrance that staff will identify as having been made by laser-borers if asked by guests.[1] Laser-borers originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they first appeared in the 1979 comic book Star Wars 28: What Ever Happened to Jabba the Hut?, which was written by Archie Goodwin and illustrated by Carmine Infantino.[3]
