The Trade Federation used laser turrets at the Invasion of Naboo[1] in 32 BBY.[2] Several of the laser turrets were at the N-1 assembly site to inderdict the Naboo Resistance. Numerous turrets were also placed at a Trade Federation base; the defenses were destroyed by a resistance strike force. Turrets also defended Federation slave camps on the Andrevea River. The turrets were also placed around Borvo the Hutt's base on Porso Hill. Additional turrets were placed along the south ridge of Theed and were destroyed during the battle there. The turrets were placed on pedestals and had a triangular casing with the barrel extending outward. They were capable of attacking air and ground targets.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The laser turrets appear in the 2000 video game Star Wars: Episode I: Battle for Naboo.
