Latero, also known as Lateron, were a sentient species from the planet Lateron that possessed four arms. The species had a keen sense of smell.[1] Marino Pomana was a member of the species who worked as a chef on the planet Begamor.[2] Greez Dritus, the captain[1] of the S-161 "Stinger" XL[4] Stinger Mantis, was a Latero.[1] The company Latero Spaceworks, creator of the S-161 "Stinger" XL, shared its name with the species.[4] The Latero Goonral Monshi was a Jedi during the High Republic Era.[5] The Latero Hap was a chef and owner of Hap's Sap Tap on the planet Tenoo during the High Republic Era.[4]
