Lavisar was once part of a larger high gravity world. It was a medium-sized world of reddish-brown rock with an abundance of heavy metal ores and a few dark seas and abundant mining and refining industries. It remained neutral in the Galactic Civil War until conquered by Warlord Zsinj. It was the headquarters of Skyrung Manufacturing, a licensed builder of Lambda-class shuttles. The main port city was known as Syward.
Lavisar was the homeworld of Jedi swordsman Cin Drallig.
