Lefrani was a gas giant planet located in the Atravis sector of the Outer Rim Territories'[2] Western Reaches portion,[1] in the Mustafar system,[2] at grid square L-19 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[4] In close orbit of the small world of Mustafar, Lefrani was in a constant state of tug-of-war with a neighboring gas giant, Jestefad, both in an attempt to make Mustafar into their moon with their gravitational pull. As a result, Mustafar was effectively transformed into an unstable world of magma and rock.[2]

Several millennia ago, Lefrani, alongside Jestefad, were pulled out of their orbit of the star Priate during a cataclysmic struggle between the Jedi and Sith. As a result, both gas giants were pulled close to the smaller world of Mustafar, suspending the planet on an erratic path between their gravitational pulls.[3]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Lefrani first appeared in the 2005 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.[5] The planet was first identified in the seventeeth issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine, published in 2015.[3]
