Liam was a Force-sensitive human male Jedi youngling who trained in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during the Separatist Crisis. He was trained by Yoda, the Grand Master of the Jedi Order.
Biography
Liam was a youngling who became part of the Jedi Order some time prior to the Clone Wars. During the Separatist Crisis, he was part of the Bear Clan,[1] a class of younglings trained by Jedi Grand Master Yoda. During a session in which the younglings trained to use a lightsaber, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi inquired to Yoda regarding the location of the planet Kamino, which he could not find in the Jedi Archives. Kenobi displayed a map of the galaxy in the training room, and Yoda requested that Liam lower the shades. He did so, and the room darkened so the map could be viewed.[2]
Behind the scenes
The character of Liam appeared in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[2] His name is a reference to actor Liam Neeson, who portrayed the character of Qui-Gon Jinn in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[3]
