Plot summary[]

LIFE DAY
As the galaxy recovers from the dark days of Imperial rule,
the Wookiee tradition of Life Day has spread far and wide-it's a
celebration of love and unity where differences are put aside and
the citizens of the New Republic face a brigher future together.

But not everyone is full of cheer. Captain Han Solo, formerly of the
Rebel Alliance, has lost the ''Millennium Falcon'' and is on the run
from the notorious criminal organization known as Kanjiklub.

A call from an old friend takes Solo and his longtime co-pilot Chewbacca
to Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, where Life Day festivities are in full swing.
But where Han Solo goes, danger is never far behind….

Notes and references[]

  1. MarvelLogo.svg Star Wars: Life Day (2021) #1 on Marvel Comics' official website (backup link)
  2. Life Day 1 takes place after Han Solo loses the Millennium Falcon during "Flight of the Falcon, Part 5: Grand Theft Falcon", but before his death in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. "Flight of the Falcon, Part 5: Grand Theft Falcon" takes place after the events of "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku", which refers to the prologue as taking place 50 years prior to the main story. The prologue takes place in between "The Wrong Jedi" and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, both of which are placed in 19 ABY by Star Wars: Galactic Atlas. Therefore the prologue takes place in 19 BBY, and the main story takes place around 31 ABY. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas also places Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens in 34 ABY, meaning that the Life Day 1 framing story takes place between c. 31 ABY and 34 ABY.
