A series of attacks on Chiss shipping freighters was undertaken by forces of the Lioaoi species' Regime and the Pathfinders^[1] around 19 BBY.^[2] Chiss Ascendancy Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn" found out that the Liaoin Regime had turned to privacy to save its economy, and proposed a counter attack to the Ascendancy's Supreme General Ba'kif, who approved Thrawn's idea. The senior captain later defeated a Liaoi force in retaliation.^[1]
