Biography[]
Liz Marsham is an American author and editor with experience working on comic books and children's storybooks. In July 2012, Marsham joined Disney Publishing Worldwide as a Digital Editor.[1] After the acquisition of Lucasfilm Ltd. by The Walt Disney Company later that same year,[2] Star Wars books began to be published by Disney Publishing Worldwide under the Disney–Lucasfilm Press imprint.[3] Starting in 2014, Marsham began working on Star Wars material.[4]

Marsham was a writer for the interactive storybook app Star Wars Journeys: The Phantom Menace.
Marsham developed, wrote, and edited[1] Star Wars Journeys: The Phantom Menace,[4] a mobile game adapting the events of[5] the 1999 prequel trilogy film,[6] Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[5] The app was released on April 22, 2014[7] and featured an interactive storybook with audio narration and a series of minigames.[5] Content from Journeys: The Phantom Menace was later re-released in the app Star Wars Journeys: Beginnings on December 18, 2014.[8] Marsham also contributed to the app[4] Star Wars Scene Maker, released on June 19 of the same year.[9] Scene Maker featured the ability for players to create new scenes and scenarios using locations and characters from the original trilogy.[10] Disney removed both Star Wars Journeys apps and Star Wars Scene Maker from online stores and no longer supports the apps.[11] In November 2014, Marsham departed Disney Publishing and transitioned to freelancing.[1]
On October 2, 2018,[12] Disney–Lucasfilm Press published Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection, an anthology of illustrated short stories adapting content from previously published Star Wars comic books and junior novels. For the anthology, Marsham wrote the short story "Leia Charts Her Own Course," adapting the events of the first issue of[13] the 2015 Marvel Comics miniseries[14] Star Wars: Princess Leia by author Mark Waid. Marsham's story featured illustrations by[13] members of Italian illustration agency[15] TomatoFarm.[13]
