"Commander, the additional reinforcements have arrived."
"Tighten your grip, K2-B4. The Republic will almost certainly attempt a second mission to infiltrate our defenses and rescue the prisoners. I'm counting on you to ensure that nothing slips past our blockade."
―K2-B4 and Osi Sobeck, regarding the fleet[1]

A fleet of various ships served in the Confederacy of Independent Systems' naval forces during the Clone Wars in formation of a blockade in orbit of the planet Lola Sayu. The fleet consisted of one Providence-class Dreadnought, one Lucrehulk-class Battleship,[2] and four Munificent-class star frigates, which also carried Vulture droid starfighters, Hyena-class Droid Bombers, and droid tri-fighters.[1]

In 20 BBY,[3] a stolen Sheathipede-class Type B shuttle carrying a Galactic Republic rescue team crossed paths with the fleet before landing on Lola Sayu, where they were to retrieve Jedi Master Even Piell, who had been imprisoned in the Citadel.[2] Later, the defense fleet, under the command of the T-series tactical droid K2-B4, came into a brief engagement with a Republic task force, which had been sent to retrieve the rescue team and the coordinates of the Nexus Route, a hyperspace route that spanned to the hearts of both Republic and Separatist homeworlds.[1]
