Lucasfilm Franchise Animation is a division of Lucasfilm that partners with outside animation studios to create animated content for the Star Wars franchise beyond flagship series such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels that are created by sister division Lucasfilm Animation. The Franchise Animation team is responsible for the series Star Wars: Visions and Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, as well as a variety of animated shorts published on the StarWarsKids.com website and YouTube channel. The division frequently partners with animation studios and production companies outside of Lucasfilm to produce content.[1]
The division is led by Lucasfilm executives James Waugh,[2] Jacqui Lopez,[3] and Josh Rimes.[4]
